| i'm sure most of you will remember "the incident" i had nearly 2 months ago...for those who missed it, basically, i went to the mall by my house for 1.5 hours...i came back out and someone had smashed both of my sideview mirrors and beat my driver door to a pulp, prob with the back of a hammer...the security tape was of POOR quality and was not helpful at all...here's a pic of the door with the damage 
anyways, the damage was approx $1800...i went through insurance, they gave me that minus my deductible...the reason it took so long to get all the work done is because of some issues with the body shop...but she is pretty much complete now...i'm excited to have her back to "normal" cause it sucked driving her around for so long with the door damaged like that...and its sucks big time driving with no sideview mirrors, they are really useful to have =)
the door got a new skin...i bought a pair of sideview mirrors from member Cssdmark (great to deal with)...since all of this body work was being done, i decided to get the front fascia re-sprayed...it was fading pretty bad and had a lot of chips and scratches from 16 years of driving...i had the foglight ducts installed and the strip painted black as well...on to the pics: 
i also need to thank oppamanz...first for the smoked corners and then for rushing me another security key when i lost the key for the security screws...i went to like 6 different hardware stores and couldn't find that key...glad to know the canadian postal service didnt take that long this time =)
i got the car done just in time for the show in san antonio...cant wait for that...see all you texas folk next weekend...btw, we all know that not having a front plate is illegal in texas and most other states (damn if i'll put one on though), but i just got a ticket for having a license plate holder on the rear plate...i did not know that was illegal...its illegal cause it apparently "obstructs" the officer from seeing the rear plate...and i also got a ticket for no front plate, but i both got both dismissed anyways thanks for reading
